What insurance should I have?

When you are living in rented accommodation it is the landlord's responsibility to take care of the building insurance. However, this does not take care of your contents and possessions or damage caused by you or your visitors to the landlord's fixtures and fittings. For this reason our tenancy agreement requires the tenant to take out contents insurance to cover the above.
