What is ARLA?

The Association of Residential Letting Agents is the only professional and regulatory body solely concerned with residential letting.

ARLA members are required to adhere to a strict code of conduct and professionalism. Failure to comply can result in hefty fines and or expulsion. Member firms are regularly advised on changes in legislation and numerous training courses are available. At least one person in every Member firm office must have passed the "ARLA 2000" proficiency exam.

Professional indemnity insurance is mandatory so you are insured against malpractice and as a further precaution member firms have separate insurance to cover tenant's funds.
